Julie is easily distracted from her tasks by situations that interest her more. At first she trivializes this behavior by saying that it is not serious. It is only in the comical adventure, when she realizes that her dizziness could have been fatal for Koutchkoutch, a very endearing dog, that she becomes aware of the importance of not getting distracted when one is responsible for something.

Pam would like to launch herself as easily as Nico and Julie do in the zip line course that Max and Tibo have installed, but she feels fearful, she can't do it. It is only in the comical adventure, after a long time watching her friends and being touched by the pain of a chick, that she is less able to let her fears get the better of her. She then finds the motivation she needs to cross a suspension bridge. After passing this test, Pam feels proud and more able to take on challenges. That's why, when she comes back to camp, she no longer hesitates and confidently launches herself into the zip line course.

Pam persists in putting on her pants, which are now too small. Despite the discomfort she feels, she has no desire to put on bigger pants. Viola sees that she is afraid to grow up. And it's true, she doesn't want things to change. When she meets Cuckoo the Snake, she realizes that growing up means growing stronger. And it's also by seeing her moult that she'll become convinced that we're much more comfortable in clothes that fit us.

Julie is a bit careless in not picking up her sandwich bag that she left in the forest. She tells herself it's no big deal, it's just a little bag. It's when she encounters a vixen injured by broken glass as well as a careless camper and sees Viola's "magical" demonstrations that she realizes that even a small bag dropped on the ground can have unfortunate repercussions and that, in the wild, carelessness adds up.

It's cleaning day at Camp Manitou! Nico is furious to learn that he will have to wash the toilets and refuses to perform this disgusting task. He only sees the unpleasant side of this task, without understanding its usefulness. It is in the funny adventure, by meeting Pierre, a dung beetle, that he will understand that there is no work without importance.

Pam struggles with the pressure of being a goalie at a soccer competition. She feels like the outcome of the game is on her shoulders. Pam panics and feels so anxious that she won't even try to relax using a relaxation technique. She would rather not play! It's when she meets Cornet, a large iguana with small horns, that Pam realizes that there's no point in taking all the pressure on her shoulders and that in case of an anxiety attack, relaxation methods can be very useful!

Julie uses her strength to take (from Pam) an object she covets without thinking for a minute about the consequences of her action. In a funny adventure, she befriends Mimi the ant, who gives her a demonstration of her strength. Julie is impressed! But then she finds it less amusing when the ant, stronger than her, takes her bracelet. Julie finds that it is not at all pleasant.

Learning to follow instructions can be a long learning curve. In this episode, Nico is a bit nonchalant about following Viola's instructions. It's only in the funny adventure, when he sees the concern he feels when Pam doesn't follow the return time instructions, that he understands the consequences of not following the instructions.

It's unseasonal Christmas at Dr. Pok's! The travelers go to the Great North where Pam meets Amak, a husky puppy. Pam is caught in a dilemma when the puppy makes her promise not to tell anyone about the tunnel under the snow that he wants to dig. Pam considers the tunnel dangerous, but is afraid of losing the dog's friendship if she reveals her secret. In the end, driven by her sense of worry, she decides to tell the dog's older sister and break the secret. We will then see that Pam did the right thing: she felt worried and spoke up.

Julie is very insulted that she was laughed at when she fell on her butt. In the funny adventure, she will meet Mino, a young lynx who will comically run into a tree. This act will make her laugh and will also help her to understand that sometimes we laugh without malice, just because it's really funny.

After knocking over a board game to avoid losing the game, Nico searches for cottonwoods in the boreal forest with Victor, a young wood bison. To make the search more fun, the two friends decide to play games. Nico will be confronted by Victor, who, like him, does not like to lose. When Victor's "sore loser" behavior has a major consequence, Nico understands how unpleasant it is to see someone react aggressively when they lose. This experience will help him better regulate himself for future occasions.

Max, Tibo and the kids go on a picnic in British Columbia. When the travelers realize that they are missing a paddle, this forces them to spend the night and the kids have to build shelters. Pam, who took her time to build her shelter, was slower than Julie and Nico, who took their time to play before getting down to work. In the end, Pam made a very comfortable shelter, while Nico and Julie, stuck in time, made a quick shelter that was neither waterproof nor comfortable. The funny adventure taught the children that speed is not always the best attribute. Because sometimes it helps to take your time to make something.

Julie confuses wants with needs. At camp, she keeps saying that she really needs this or that when in fact they are non-essentials. To her delight, Viola magically makes everything she wants appear! When she sets out on a fishing expedition dragging her bag full of useless things, Julie realizes that she could use a lot more than the latest pair of shoes.

Nico plays ball without caring about the trouble he causes. He even has the impression that he is not really responsible for the damage caused by his ball. It's only in the funny adventure, when he has to suffer from Farfadet the coyote's carelessness, that he will realize that his own actions could have been disturbing for the others. And he will act to make up for his mistakes.

Julie and Pam bicker when they both want to use the same knitting book. During the funny adventure, the girls meet young Louis Riel who offers them a beautiful model of listening to each other. As they watch him interact with the prairie dog mom who stole his purse, they realize that when the other person's point of view is considered, it is easier to find solutions to conflicts.

Julie meets Passifou, the little gannets' fool. She would like to keep him forever, but the baby gets bored and ends up running away. It's only when she meets Nitap, a teddy bear who wants to keep her with him forever, that Julie really understands what she has put the little gannets' little fool through.

Pam doesn't say what she really wants and accumulates frustrations. When she meets the chicoque (skunk in the Cree and Metis language), she realizes that it would be better to say what bothers her rather than keep it all bottled up and end up blowing up.

Nico makes others angry because he "cries wolf" to get their attention. His comical adventure will make him realize that "crying wolf" can have unpleasant consequences!

When Julie gets stuck in the pond, she is too embarrassed and proud to ask for help. On an expedition, she will understand that everyone needs help sometimes and that it's okay to ask for it!

While she's playing with two little porcupines, Pam is right on the tail of one of them. Claiming it was an accident, she refuses to apologize. Later, she realizes that apologizing is primarily a "nice" thing to do for others.

Nico reads a superhero book and decides to become the Squirrel Man. Fortunately, the funny adventure will make him realize that doing acrobatics in a tree can be very dangerous!

Julie walks away from the camp without saying where she is going. The other travelers are worried and Max warns her not to go any further. The canoe adventure takes the travelers to the far north. During this expedition, Julie will understand that getting away from her group can be really dangerous!
