Julie and Pam bicker when they both want to use the same knitting book. During the funny adventure, the girls meet young Louis Riel who offers them a beautiful model of listening to each other. As they watch him interact with the prairie dog mom who stole his purse, they realize that when the other person's point of view is considered, it is easier to find solutions to conflicts.
Julie meets Passifou, the little gannets' fool. She would like to keep him forever, but the baby gets bored and ends up running away. It's only when she meets Nitap, a teddy bear who wants to keep her with him forever, that Julie really understands what she has put the little gannets' little fool through.
Pam doesn't say what she really wants and accumulates frustrations. When she meets the chicoque (skunk in the Cree and Metis language), she realizes that it would be better to say what bothers her rather than keep it all bottled up and end up blowing up.
Nico makes others angry because he "cries wolf" to get their attention. His comical adventure will make him realize that "crying wolf" can have unpleasant consequences!
When Julie gets stuck in the pond, she is too embarrassed and proud to ask for help. On an expedition, she will understand that everyone needs help sometimes and that it's okay to ask for it!
While she's playing with two little porcupines, Pam is right on the tail of one of them. Claiming it was an accident, she refuses to apologize. Later, she realizes that apologizing is primarily a "nice" thing to do for others.
Nico reads a superhero book and decides to become the Squirrel Man. Fortunately, the funny adventure will make him realize that doing acrobatics in a tree can be very dangerous!
Julie walks away from the camp without saying where she is going. The other travelers are worried and Max warns her not to go any further. The canoe adventure takes the travelers to the far north. During this expedition, Julie will understand that getting away from her group can be really dangerous!
While Pam is unhappy to be told that she is too small to do anything, Viola sends the campers on a surprise mission! There Pam meets a baby triceratops and realizes that it's better to wait until you grow up to do certain things safely.
Nico has a bad cold and cannot participate in the fun adventure. In the end, he realizes that imagination is a wonderful power that he can use whenever he wants!
Julie sees Viola hugging Pam and calling her her little treasure. She imagines that her aunt prefers Pam! In this funny adventure, Julie understands that even though Viola shows Pam love, it doesn't take away from the love her aunt has for her.
Pam is absorbed by a new puzzle and is not interested in anything else! When the team travels north to care for a caribou, Pam rediscovers that it's important to be there for her friends.
Nico doesn't listen to Viola's warnings and ends up losing his precious turquoise stone during the adventure. In the future, he promises to be more attentive to the advice of the greats.
The children of the camp have the idea of exchanging gifts. While living the fun adventure, our three friends understand that when we give a gift, the important thing is not the object, but the gesture of giving!
Nico has fun camouflaging himself without really thinking about the consequences of his game and he comes close to triggering an accident. It is only by living the funny adventure and witnessing the reckless behavior of a small seahorse that Nico realizes that it is sometimes important, when playing, to know how to stop in time.
