Tuwhare's champion is defeated in an underhanded battle, and he smells a rat. Tereti is taken to a magical place by Hinepu and then beaten by Tuwhare. After being down on his luck, Harold finds a new fighter on a dark street.

Raukura's girls dazzle in the fight tent, and Harold's new fighter, Alofa, makes a big impact. Mawera takes care of the people and tells Kingi he dropped the ball. Harold ups the game and Alofa becomes the first superstar of the ring.

A bounty hunter has tracked Harold from England. Raukura uses her ex-lover and womanly smarts to make a double play. Harold is oblivious, but there's bigger fish to fry. Hinepu and Tereti have seen a war party in their territory.

Kingi takes his rightful place and leads a war party against the enemy. Tereti makes a powerful statement that even Tuwhare cannot deny. As they head across the bay to battle, a new ship appears.
