Sadie makes plans to head to her first rodeo with her Uncle Al, but she accidentally oversleeps. Missing her ride. Sophina ends up taking her to meet an old friend of hers. He teaches Sadie a very important lesson about keeping your word.
After a long night of working the horses at the Ranch, one of the ranch hands informs Uncle Al that his favorite horse is missing. An old friend of Grandma Sally shows up to help with the search.
Sadie and Ash are excited to catch the newest episode of their favorite cartoon. Grandma Sally makes a batch of Blue Corn Mush for them, but Ash accidentally eats it all. So now they must go on an adventure to find some more.
Grandma Sally catches Sadie singing to herself in the kitchen. They visit Mrs. Pete's shop and learn she's having an open mic night. Grandma Sally convinces her to give it a try.
The last night of her summer vacation, Sadie takes her time saying goodbye to all the new friends she made during her time on the Navajo Nation. She gets to see her very first meteor shower as well.
After she arrives at Grandma Sally's house, Sadie gets settled in her room. Nevertheless, Sally has other plans for Sadie's first day on the Navajo rez.
