Community Garden Cleanup

Welcome to the Community Garden! It's a place where everyone can come together and grow their own flowers, fruits, and vegetables. Tamir shows Elmo the herbs he and his mom are growing to make their food taste good. Alan shows Elmo the vegetables he's growing to make some of his favorite foods from Japan. Elmo walks over to Mia and her dad's plot who's growing her Abuela's favorite flowers. The next morning, Tamir and Elmo notice a windstorm had blown everything down in the garden. They feel sad about what happened and decide to ask their friends to help clean up the garden together. Everyone wanted to come together to help and clean up the garden. After all, the community garden belongs to all of us.

Grandpa ZZ wanted to make macaroni and cheese to share with the family, but he didn't have enough cheese! Grandparents' Day

It's Grandparents' Day on Sesame Street! Everyone is coming together to celebrate with a cookout. Gabrielle and her Grandma Nell are making their family's world-famous Grandpa ZZ's Triple Cheesy Macareenie. While Elmo, Tamir and Gabrielle help Grandma Nell prepare the dish, Grandma Nell tells them the story of how her Grandpa ZZ's dish all started. Grandpa ZZ wanted to make macaroni and cheese to share with the family, but he didn't have enough cheese! He found three small pieces of cheese and mixed them with butter, and milk and created the Triple Cheesy Macareenie. The best part about making it is being able to cook it together as a family. Just like how Grandma Nell made it with her grandpa, Gabrielle and Tamir get to make it with Grandma Nell every year for Grandparents' Day.

Are You Ready for School? NEW

When Rudy and Zoe feel nervous about getting ready for kindergarten, Ji-Young and Baby Bear decide to host a game show all about school! There are two teams: Zoe and Cookie Monster compete against Grover and Rudy. To answer a question, they need to raise their hand and wait for their names to be called. Contestants need to figure out what to do in a classroom when a teacher asks a question, remember the order of items in the cubbies, and solve a math problem. Both teams end with a tie, and everyone receives stickers for their prize! Rudy and Zoe are now ready for kindergarten!

Abby's Magical Sleepover

Gabrielle and Charlie are having a sleepover at Abby's! They play games with Rudy until it's time to get ready for bed. Rudy goes off to sleep and Gabrielle, Charlie, and Abby start their bedtime routines. First, they all brush their teeth. Next, they do their hair, and everyone has a different way of taking care of their hair. Abby brushes her hair to get out the knots and tangles, Charlie sprays her curly hair with conditioner to keep it from getting knots and tangles, and Gabrielle's hair is in braids this week so she's taking care of her hair by putting on her bonnet to keep her hair soft and shiny. They have bedtime routines both different and alike! Finally, they snuggle into bed and talk about what they're grateful for before going to sleep.

Proud of My Name NEW

Elmo, Gabrielle, and Rosita join a basketball team! They meet Coach Jones and their new teammates and begin to practice. Coach Jones calls out each member of the team, but Rosita realizes she didn't get a turn because the coach said "Rosie" instead of "Rosita." As practice continues, the other teammates also start calling Rosita, "Rosie," making Rosita feel frustrated. Her name is "Rosita," not "Rosie" and she's proud of her name. Rosita is hesitant to correct the coach. Elmo and Gabrielle understand that it's hard to tell grown-ups when they've got something wrong. They help Rosita gain courage to tell Coach Jones that she likes to be called "Rosita." Coach Jones apologizes and is happy she told her. Coach Jones tells the rest of the team to call Rosita by the correct name. Names are a big part of who we are and it's important to get them right.
